Quality Assurance Specialist

Med-Metrix seeks a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of coding accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and Review Coding Quality: Collaborate with internal staff to develop improved capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance.
- Ensure Adherence to Workflows: Verify that all team members adhere to established workflows and ethical coding practices.
- Analyze Reports and Data: Review reports and data to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced quality management.
Requirements:
- Certifications: AAPC and/or AHIMA certification is required, while CPMA certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in E/M and CPT Procedure Coding: Demonstrate expertise in E/M and CPT procedure coding.
- Experience: A minimum of six months of experience in quality management or a related field is necessary.
- Skills: Strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and ability to work independently in a team environment.
