Job Opportunity

Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist who can also take on support and project management responsibilities.

  • This role will ensure our digital projects meet the highest quality standards, while also acting as a bridge between clients and the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance (Manual Testing):
    • Review and test completed work to identify defects, inconsistencies, or usability issues.
    • Log and track bugs in Trello, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
    • Identify not only task-specific defects but also related side issues that could impact project quality.
    • Ensure issues are addressed before delivery to the client.
  • Client Support & Project Coordination:
    • Liaise directly with clients to assess incoming support requests, clarifying requirements where needed.
    • Translate client feedback into actionable tasks for the development team.
    • Prioritize and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
    • Track project progress and update relevant stakeholders.
    • Send back completed work / tasks to client for testing with clear communication and steps to test
  • Process & Tools:
    • Work within Trello and Jira to manage and monitor tasks.
    • Ensure project documentation is up to date and accurate.
    • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth workflows.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in manual QA, ideally within a digital agency or software development environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Trello, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think beyond the immediate task.
  • Proactive in identifying issues before they are raised by the client.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in project management or coordination.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and basic HTML/CSS concepts.
