Process Optimization Specialist

At our organization, we're committed to enhancing manufacturing processes to make them safer, leaner, and more efficient. We're seeking a Process Optimization Specialist to drive continuous improvement and innovation across operations. Key Responsibilities- Owning production standards and targets to ensure optimized manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead improvement projects, support new product introductions, and drive operational excellence
- Developing and maintaining manufacturing standards through time studies and audits
- Supporting new product development by setting production parameters and conducting line trials
- Leading Lean Six Sigma and Total Flow/Quality Improvement initiatives
- Analyzing production data to identify and resolve issues in productivity, quality, and layout
- Updating labor costs and scrap factors for financial planning
- Creating standardized procedures and training materials for continuous improvement
Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical sectors. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, motion and time study, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis, as well as proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Minitab, and Microsoft Office. Certification or training as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is also desirable.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
