Automation Quality Engineer

We are urgently seeking a senior quality automation engineer to help shape the future of test automation. This position plays a key role in driving innovation in testing frameworks, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability across all efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs and Implements Scalable Automation Frameworks
    • Focuses on Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) testing, creating scalable and reusable frameworks that meet business requirements.
  • Leads Test Automation Architecture Evolution
    • Ensures best-in-class design patterns, performance, and maintainability, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Defines and Enforces Automation Standards
    • Establishes a center of excellence for test automation practices, providing strategic guidance and mentorship.
  • Conducts Research and Evaluation
    • Evaluates cutting-edge tools to improve automation coverage, performance, and efficiency, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Mentors and Guides Team Members
    • Mentors junior and mid-level engineers in Playwright and automation best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Provides Strategic Guidance
    • Influences company-wide QA strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to drive automation adoption and process improvement.
  • Conducts Code Reviews
    • Establishes best practices for automation test development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient testing processes.
  • Leads Training Initiatives
    • Develops and delivers training programs for manual QA engineers transitioning to automation roles, enhancing skills and competencies.
  • Develops and Optimizes Automated Test Scripts
    • Creates highly efficient automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing, meeting business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, design patterns, software testing processes, best practices, and be accustomed to Agile Development. A strong background in CI/CD concepts and tools, as well as experience with performance testing and security testing, is also required.
