Accounting Specialist Needed

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and precision in all accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in accounts payable and receivable. Proficiency in accounting platforms and Excel/Google Sheets is required. NetSuite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Payable: Set up new vendors, collect W-9 forms, reconcile vendor statements, and protect confidential information.
  • Invoice Processing: Review invoices, perform 3-way matching, ensure proper GL coding, enter invoices, resolve discrepancies, and apply credits.
  • Payments & Scheduling: Maintain payment schedule, track and manage billings and payments for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communication & Support: Collaborate with internal teams.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Receivable: Apply payments to invoices, verify deductions and credits, retrieve remittance advice, regular AR reconciliations, maintain AR records, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile online sales and bank deposits.

Key Qualifications:
