Job Overview

This role oversees the delivery of Global People Solutions for a region, supporting over 20,000 employees. The leader is responsible for managing a team of professionals, driving operational excellence, and building a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Oversee daily back office operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses to employee HR queries.
  • Manage case intake, triage, and assignment in a case management tool, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in global HRIS systems.
  • Ensure complex payroll and benefits issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
  • Drive execution of new HR programs and support annual events, projects, and activities.

People Management & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and develop an inclusive team through effective recruiting, coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career growth and professional development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

Process Improvement, Transition & Knowledge Management

  • Lead process transitions and integration into Shared Services, including planning, documentation, resource mapping, and training.
  • Analyze and document functional requirements and workflows for operational processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, supporting system user acceptance testing.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex data errors or process issues.
  • Communicate effectively and influence leadership across geographies.

Metrics, Reporting & Quality Assurance

  • Own accountability for service delivery metrics, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Develop and share meaningful reports and data insights with stakeholders.
  • Deliver on quality assurance programs, monitoring performance against standards.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all processes comply with company policies and local labor law.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

Market-Specific Deliverables

  • Administer local onboarding tasks and benefits.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience using enterprise-scale HRIS and case management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of people functional policies within a Global Shared Services model.
  • Experience with enterprise systems and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to standardize and reengineer people processes.
