About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandise Planner to lead our Allocation and Store Analysts team. This critical role requires strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze sales forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.

In this position, you will be responsible for allocating stock to the right stores at the right time, maintaining warehouse inventory levels, and partnering with sales teams to forecast needs. You will also oversee allocations across both wholesale and retail channels to drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and supporting the Allocation & Store Analysts team.
  • Ensuring stock is allocated to the right stores at the right time.
  • Analyzing future sales forecasts and placing stock orders to maintain optimal warehouse levels.
  • Identifying in-store sales opportunities and collaborating with Allocation & Store Analysts to maximize performance.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Merchandise Planner and Allocator, with a focus on merchandise planning and retail allocations.
  • Proven experience in multi-store or multi-channel retail operations, with a strong understanding of stock allocation principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales trends and plan stock orders to maintain optimal warehouse levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with solid knowledge of intermediate formulas such as XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, MROUND, CEILING, and CONCATENATE.
