Key Responsibilities:

  • Abstract specific data elements from patient electronic medical records and enter them into designated databases or registry sites.
  • Perform validation checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of entered data.
  • Maintain effective communication with customer hospitals, Clinical Quality departments, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Seek feedback and guidance from Clinical Quality Analyst Educator and Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Clinical experience in trauma services, bariatrics, surgery, and/or oncology department.
