Sprinkler/Plumbing Take-off Specialist Job Overview

The Sprinkler/Plumbing Take-off Specialist plays a vital role in project estimation by accurately interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing cost proposals. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
  • Reviewing all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
  • Obtaining vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
  • Inputting takeoff data and preparing detailed proposals using provided templates
  • Ensuring timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
  • Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
