Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator

The position of Senior Construction Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects. The individual will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and resources required for various projects, leveraging their analytical and problem-solving skills to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Estimate Preparation
  • Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial ventures.
  • Analyze project scope, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to inform informed decision-making.
Takeoffs
  • Perform accurate and detailed takeoffs from blueprints and specifications, utilizing industry-standard software for quantity calculations.
  • Extract material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs to inform estimate preparation.
Data Management
  • Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and project costs through effective data management practices.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer relationships, and monitor project progress.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience with construction estimating software and CRM tools.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
