Job Opportunity

The role of Senior Architect encompasses providing technical leadership and directing staff on projects ranging from 5,000 to 200,000 sq. ft., including renovations, interior work, and ground-up construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends, comprehend client requirements, and foster strong client relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in defining tasks, timelines, fees, and preparing project proposals.
  • Space Planning: Develop space needs and conduct zoning and code reviews.
  • Pre-Construction Services: Review existing drawings, identify challenges, and produce Revit drawings.
  • Design Development: Establish design concepts, create 3D models, plan spaces, and coordinate with consultants.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare contract documents, lead quality control, and supervise technical details.
  • Bidding and Negotiation: Assist in preparing bid packages and respond to contractor RFIs.
  • Administrative Support: Communicate contract requirements, review submittals, and coordinate change orders.
Requirements:
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Architectural Licensure (U.S. preferred; international considered with strong experience)
  • 10+ years of relevant architectural experience
  • Proven leadership in technical design and documentation
  • Proficiency in Revit; additional skills in SketchUp, Photoshop, and related software a plus
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge of building codes (IBC experience highly valued)
