This is a senior role in our water team, where you will be working on challenging projects involving flood assessments and hydrology modelling. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and drive engineering solutions.

Job Description

We are looking for a professional with experience in hydrology and hydraulics modelling, flood studies and impact assessments. Your skills in software packages such as TUFLOW, HEC-RAS and MIKE will be valuable in this role.

  • You will be responsible for delivering flood assessments for major infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to solve technical challenges and drive an optimum engineering solution.

As a key member of our water team, you will contribute to the diversity of thought, skills and experience within the group.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on hydrology and hydraulics modelling, flood studies and impact assessments.
  • Proficiency in one or more hydrology and hydraulic modelling software packages.
  • Strong ability to analyse, interpret and communicate technical information and modelling results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external clients.
