Job Overview

This role involves strategic data management to ensure seamless access, analysis, and decision-making within an organization.

The Data Operations Analyst acts as a bridge between technical data teams and business operations by designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient controls of data processing systems. Key responsibilities include data trend collection, quality control, reporting, and collaborating with internal development teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Cleaning and Transformation:
    • Identify and resolve data quality issues like duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
  • Data Quality Monitoring:
    • Establish and maintain data quality metrics, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Data Pipeline Management:
    • Manage existing data pipelines to collect data from ingestion, processing, and distribution across different systems.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze operational processes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • System Administration:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot data and reporting systems, including simple data and reporting tools administrative tasks.
  • BAU Ownership:
    • Manage and process existing BAU automated processes. Act as first-level incident support analysts in case of failure and maintenance of Ops Manual for ease of issue resolution.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduate degree in IT or Computer Science related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Required Skills and Qualities
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in basic SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and trends in data.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration skills: Effectively working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
