System Support Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT professional to take on a challenging system support role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical assistance and troubleshooting services for end-user devices, software applications, and company infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting complex issues related to End User Devices and Company Infrastructure.
  • Following established procedures for response time, escalation, communication, and documentation.
  • Providing proactive communication to avoid customer frustration.
  • Setting up networks during client onboarding or projects.
  • Collaborating with vendor technical support teams to resolve issues or implement new solutions.
  • Implementing SaaS solutions as needed.
  • Addressing infrastructure issues identified by the NOC.
  • Documenting and improving department processes.

In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, and Systems Administration.

Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools is also essential.

A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment, and MDM is required.

Support for Cloud products such as Office 365, SharePoint / OneDrive, Azure, and Google is necessary.

Systems Administration skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms and Active Directory, Group Policy are highly desirable.

BASIC understanding and support of Storage and Virtualization platforms, as well as networking concepts like TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN, and Firewalls are expected.
