Technical Engineering Leader Role

The company is seeking a skilled and experienced technical engineering leader to join their team. This role will be responsible for leading multiple software engineering squads, overseeing the development process, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Execution & Delivery
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize technical work and ensure on-time delivery.
    • Lead sprint planning and retrospectives to improve team velocity and quality.
    • Implement lightweight processes to enhance engineering velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Manage and support a team of software engineers, creating an environment where they can excel in their roles.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing timely feedback and coaching to team members.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in technical leadership.
  • Strong technical background in modern web development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Golang, React).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, IaC).
  • Experience working in high-velocity teams that ship iteratively while maintaining high standards.
  • Clear communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
