Financial Analysis Position

Our organization is seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing various aspects of real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly funding reports: Create detailed reports on funding activities.
  • Monthly reports: Generate liquidity statements, monitor compliance, and analyze multifamily data.
  • Quarterly/year-end loan compliance reporting: Develop reports for major lending partners.
  • Ground lease reporting: Monitor reporting compliance and perform variance analysis.
  • Yardi report generation: Prepare reports on rent roll, income statement, budget, and tenancy schedule.
  • Loan financing/refinancing: Manage underwriting, due diligence, and closing processes.
  • Budget preparation: Assist in creating annual budgets and reviewing financial performance.
  • 1031 exchange management: Identify replacement properties, calculate deferred tax gain/loss, and update property tax basis.
  • Acquisitions/dispositions: Manage due diligence, closing, and exchange setup processes.
  • Summary updates: Maintain a summary of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and 1031 exchanges.
  • Property tax basis updates: Regularly update the property tax basis.
Requirements
  • Latin honors degree from a reputable university.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • MBA degree highly desirable.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
