We are seeking a skilled Custom Furniture Designer to create detailed, accurate technical drawings for custom furniture projects.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in producing precise 2D and 3D designs, proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Strong background in custom woodwork design is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed technical drawings for custom furniture projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details.
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp required.
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork.
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.
