We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Network Specialist to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of optical network equipment, ensuring network stability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and support of WDM, OTN, and MSTP optical network systems.
- Technical Support: Provide remote troubleshooting and assist in service restoration during network outages.
- Configuration & Optimization: Conduct optical layer power commissioning, optimization, and service configuration to ensure network performance.
- Software Updates & Upgrades: Perform patch updates and software upgrades for OSNx800/OSNx500 Series to address defects and maintain version consistency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven Experience in Optical Network Maintenance, with expertise in WDM, OTN, MSTP, and related technologies.
- Strong Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of Software & Hardware Systems, including optical equipment patching, version control, and software updates.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
