Regional Volunteer Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

As a Regional Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating volunteer teams and providing support to our operations in the region. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with host country staff and program operations to determine volunteer team roles and needs
  • Strategizing to offer international volunteer positions to partner countries in equitable ways
  • Coordinate all aspects of volunteer placement, international flight logistics, and volunteer preparation
  • Supporting credentialing of volunteers by ensuring documentation is in order and requirements are met
  • Providing status updates and summary reports on volunteer placement and team composition
  • Assisting regional volunteer management staff with training and support

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, program management, project management, non-profit studies, international studies, communications, or related field

Experience: 2+ years of volunteer coordination, customer service, or project management experience preferred

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competency

Ability to perform with high level of autonomy and initiative

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed
