Lead Modeler

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our modeling department, you will be responsible for setting modeling standards, ensuring the quality and accuracy of models, and helping execute our plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development
    • Create structural drawings and Revit models that meet the highest quality standards.
    • Perform quality checks on your own work, as well as project and design modelers.
    • Execute complex geometry and model detailing.
    • Take off and target value models with precision.
    • Ensure construction documents are accurately modeled.
    • Develop special conditions and complex families.
    • Communicate considerations through 3D views.
    • Adhere to BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Sprint Planning
    • Develop and communicate a plan of approach to the Project Manager.
    • Understand and document tasks to complete deliverables and estimate hours.
    • Commit and execute the plan, reconciling with the project team as needed.
    • Communicate early and often when roadblocks arise.
    • Balance multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Client Coordination
    • Proactively communicate with clients, coordinating with external teams.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines' design changes and model challenges.
    • Identify underdeveloped areas in design and provide high-level options for the technical lead.
    • Understand client value maps and deliver projects meeting client expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Pursue continuing education opportunities.
    • Participate in material groups, update, and improve standards and best practices.
