Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory and tax audit requirements to meet statutory and internal deadlines.
  • Work with other Finance teams to identify process improvement opportunities to reduce dependencies and processing time.


Accountabilities
  • Assist the Financial Admin & Compliance Senior Manager in planning audits, confirming requirements, and agreeing timelines with auditors.
  • Serve as the point of contact for auditors on statutory and tax audit requirements for assigned IWG entities.
  • Ensure audit and related administrative activities, documents, and reports are accomplished on time and free of error.
  • Reconcile and understand differences between statutory and IFRS accounts, documenting the same in the accounting system.
  • Ensure final accounts, working files, and other related documents are stored on SharePoint, and determine if there are documents required by country law to be archived physically.
  • Keep abreast of all regulatory changes impacting assigned IWG entities.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Senior Manager.


Requirements
  • CPA certification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in statutory audits and/or financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc).
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficient in MS applications, particularly advanced in MS Excel Application.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage issues, and produce results in a timely manner.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Can work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Team player.
