Job Title: Financial Compliance Specialist

As a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain up-to-date financial records, prepare tax filings, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare Tax Filings: Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
  • Reconcile Statements: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to identify any discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Assist in Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, responding to inquiries and coordinating with tax authorities as needed.
  • Process Payroll: Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment of employee salaries.
  • Conduct Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, collaborating with internal and external auditors as necessary.
  • Provide Support: Provide support during the annual budget process, assisting with financial forecasting and planning.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure clarity and accuracy in all financial transactions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
