We are seeking a skilled Digital Building Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting clients with high-quality fault detection and diagnostics solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless onboarding experiences for clients by completing projects within agreed timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct onboarding activities such as installing data collection services, discovering data, and organizing tasks for digital building engineers.
  • Troubleshoot diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customers' HVAC equipment and provide accurate results.
  • Train and engage customer and partner users on data transfer services, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
  • Provide ongoing support for connected sites and ensure they are running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Possess confidence, self-motivation, and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and partners via phone and email.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or 5-6 years of industry experience.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with BAS protocols like BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Understanding of BAS networking principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideal candidates have exposure to automated commissioning, fault detection, performance measurement, and verification.
  • Ideal candidates have knowledge of metadata applications like Project Haystack.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or a related technical degree) and an interest in building systems or significant field experience in a controls or services company serving the buildings industry.
  • A certificate or equivalent experience in basic networking or computer fundamentals.
  • The ability to learn technical solutions quickly and thoroughly and improve upon them.
  • Effective communication of technical information to customers over the phone and through emails.
  • Multiple project management skills, handling projects across different countries simultaneously.
  • Thoroughness and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to streamline processes and find efficiencies in executing complex technical tasks.
  • Creative idea generation for product development and effective communication with leadership and development teams.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment where processes are still being established and refined.
  • Motivation to change the built environment using new tools, technologies, and business models.
  • A desire to work in a close-knit, passionate environment with key communication and learning opportunities.
