Estimating Roles

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.
  • Analyze historical data and pricing trends to improve the accuracy of estimates.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing.
  • Participate in bid reviews and risk analysis discussions.
  • Coordinate with project managers to transition awarded projects into production smoothly.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates

Requirements include proven experience as a Construction Estimator (3+ years preferred), proficiency with estimating software, and strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
