Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to provide detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will analyze project plans and technical specifications to generate accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive estimates, bid submissions, and profit plans for electrical projects.
  • Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Assemble organized and accurate estimates and proposals for design-build and construction projects.
  • Solicit, analyze, and negotiate competitive quotes from suppliers.
  • Maintain and update records of unit rates and standard pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project details.
  • Compile budgets for general expenses and overheads.
  • Track and manage project changes and document cost impacts.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
  • Proven expertise in electrical estimating for residential, commercial, and retail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency with estimating tools such as Accubid or similar software.
  • Advanced experience with Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, scheduling, and cost control.
