Senior Security Consultant Role

This is a highly specialized role within our team that plays a critical part in maintaining the security of our clients' networks and systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and running key customer engagements, as directed by their manager.

Maintaining Trustwave's reputation within their area of expertise through industry events and pre-sales activities is also an essential aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall system security.
  • Interact with customers to provide excellent service through pre-engagement meetings and ongoing engagement interactions.
  • Create organizational knowledge about key technologies and methodologies.
  • Mentor less experienced resources to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Have the opportunity to perform security research involving bug hunting and cryptography.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in web application penetration testing.
  • Expertise in one or more areas: mobile or thick-client security, automotive, embedded, IoT, SCADA/OT, or red teaming.
  • Software development and/or strong scripting experience required.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to present at conferences.
  • Autonomous with ability to operate with little supervision.
  • Strong team player and technical innovator.
