Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned software development specialist to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, cloud architecture, and enterprise-grade software solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet the needs of millions of users.

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on AWS cloud platform.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
