Job Description

As a mortgage expert, you will manage the entire loan process from application through closing.

This includes reviewing and analyzing documentation, calculating key metrics, ordering third-party reports, and preparing comprehensive loan packages for submission to underwriters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process investment property loans from application through closing, serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers
  • Review and analyze documentation including property valuations, rent rolls, renovation budgets, entity formation documents, and financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all loan files prior to submission
  • Identify potential issues early in the process and develop solutions before they become problems
  • Calculate key metrics with precision
  • Order and track third-party reports and coordinate vendor deliverables
  • Prepare comprehensive loan packages for underwriting submission, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Address underwriting conditions promptly with thorough research and problem-solving approaches
  • Coordinate closing logistics with lenders, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers
  • Proactively communicate status updates and potential obstacles to stakeholders
  • Maintain pipeline tracking and provide daily status reports
Requirements:
  • 1+ years experience in loan processing, preferably in investment property or private money
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment terminology and loan structures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate issues
  • Technical proficiency with CRMs and loan processing software
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
