The Staffing Specialist will serve on a dynamic Talent Acquisition Team to conduct full-cycle recruitment. They will source, interview, and assess candidates across different industries and roles for our organization.
The role involves working closely with the talent acquisition team to appropriately match top talent with clients needing assistance in their teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, sourcing platforms, social media, and other relevant sources.
- Conduct interviews, screening, and onboarding processes to accurately match high-quality candidates with job descriptions.
- Manage initial candidate processing by verifying references, experience, and sending offer letters to ensure that we only hire top-quality applicants.
- Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with the most up-to-date information regarding candidates, their stage, onboarding statuses, and talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Team and Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure diversified strategies for sourcing high-quality candidates in high volumes actively.
- Debrief candidates on job responsibilities, expectations, workflows, and routines they should follow.
- Identify opportunities to improve staffing, talent pipeline management, sourcing, and onboarding processes.
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding the progress of recruiting the best talent for assigned accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong background in hiring virtual assistants or experience working with a staffing agency offering virtual assistant services is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Human Operations Management, Organizational Development, Communication, English, or a similar field is necessary.
- Proven experience in talent sourcing and hiring; recruitment marketing is an asset.
- Experience as a full-cycle recruiter and sourcing high-quality candidates is mandatory.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc., is essential.
- Experience working with at least one applicant tracking system (ATS) is required.
- Data-driven approach to validate the success of hiring efforts is crucial.
- Proficiency in online meeting platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Skype is necessary.
- Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication in English are vital.
- Tech-savvy individual with analytical skills and ability to break down big goals into actionable plans is required.
- A confident, coachable, and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Interest in tech, analytical work, startup companies, and building relationships with people is preferred.
- Familiarity with software such as Discord, ClickUp, G-Suite, Zoho, or any applicant tracking system is an asset.
