Construction Estimation Role

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in estimating and takeoffs, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.

They will also be skilled at collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution.
  • Utilize specialized software to create detailed takeoffs and estimates.
  • Organize and track data to ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Identify potential issues or discrepancies in plans and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating and takeoffs in the construction industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in specialized software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
