Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to lead our audits from fieldwork through to final reports.

As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for planning each audit thoroughly, preparing clear and accurate financial statements and audit reports, and briefing team members on key risks.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support junior team members while keeping projects on track.

  • Prepare detailed audit plans to set the team up for success.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for meeting client needs.
  • Brief team members on key risks to ensure everyone is confident going in.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree and CPA qualification; UK audit experience preferred.
  • 4+ years' external statutory audit experience.
  • Ideally trained at a Top 10 audit firm.
  • Audit exposure across multiple industries (preferably outside banking/financial services).
  • Experience developing audit strategies and terms of engagement.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS, Irish GAAP, UK GAAP (including FRS 102), and current technical updates.
