Job Summary

Our organization is seeking a skilled Medical Biller to support our revenue cycle management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims electronically or via paper.
  • Process payments from insurance companies and patients in our electronic medical record system.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve payment issues by reconciling patient accounts.
  • Effectively communicate with insurance companies regarding unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits for accuracy and address discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized accounts receivable systems and generate regular aging reports.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure timely revenue collection.
  • Correct billing errors and resubmit claims as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance billing guidelines is beneficial.
  • Experience in healthcare administration or physical therapy billing is preferred.
