Senior Accounting Professional

This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. The successful candidate will also possess a proven track record in accounting, with experience in financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and budget planning.

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Conduct monthly and annual closing processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Administer accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing, payment of invoices, and collection of revenue.
• Prepare and file tax returns, both federal and state, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
• Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Implement and optimize accounting software and systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Act as a financial advisor within the organization, offering guidance on financial best practices, expense management, and investment opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting for U.S. companies.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software, with a strong preference for experience in QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the U.S. and experience with financial statement preparation.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Ability to commit long-term and work full-time.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time).
