Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for reconstructing monthly Profit & Loss statements for the past 2 years, reconciling all accounts for accuracy and generating reports for legal counsel. The focus will be on ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards and tax requirements, while working efficiently to meet strict deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential
  • Experience with U.S.-based companies and deep understanding of U.S. tax structure are required
  • Proven experience in financial reconstruction and reconciliation is necessary
  • Able to generate accurate, audit-ready reports
  • Responsive, detail-oriented, deadline-driven

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled accountant to assist with a complex financial project involving past financial records cleanup. If you have experience with QuickBooks Online, U.S. tax regulations, and preparing legal-ready financial reports, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  1. Reconstruct monthly Profit & Loss statements for the past 2 years
  2. Reconcile all accounts for accuracy
  3. Generate reports for legal counsel, including Profit & Loss Statements, 941 Payroll Tax Summary, Texas Sales Tax Liability Reports, and Balance Sheets
  4. Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and tax requirements
  5. Maintain responsive communication throughout the project
