Job Opportunity

As a key member of our data governance team, you will play a pivotal role in the stewardship and governance of our people data assets.

Responsibilities include managing data and metric definitions, metadata repositories, ensuring data quality processes and monitoring, and delivering policy training and upskilling for colleagues.

As the Core People Data Steward, you will champion data governance methodologies and support non-permanent data stewards across the organisation, helping them embed high standards in their domains.

You will also maintain the data entitlements framework to ensure ongoing compliance and secure data access.

By leading the development of clear data and metric definitions, promoting effective metadata management, and implementing robust data quality processes, you will lay the foundation for reliable people analytics and data-driven decision making.

About the Role

This mid-senior level position requires experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data management roles, preferably supporting HR, workforce, or people data in complex organisations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing metric and data definitions, metadata management, and implementing data quality frameworks.

A strong partnership skillset is essential for working collaboratively with data stewards, technical teams, and business users to embed governance standards.

Additionally, demonstrated analytical, organisational, and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to translate governance requirements into practical solutions.
