Case Specialist Role

This position involves contributing to the activities performed in our Hub.

  • We seek a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform data entry of vigilance cases into relevant databases following established conventions.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for quality control of vigilance cases and associated safety reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Medical review of vigilance cases according to relevant conventions and regulatory requirements is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • Frequent communication with partners, medical information, and quality complaints via phone or mail will be required.
  • Pre-analysis of complex cases prior to data entry and identification of submission requirements for safety cases are key responsibilities.
  • Review and analysis of ICSRs downloaded from competent authorities databases will also be performed.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in operational implementation of new projects and serve as a key contact for projects with support from the team leader/Activity manager/Project manager.
  • Performance of medical review of post-marketing cases as assigned and acting as Operations lead for assigned post-marketing clients are additional responsibilities.
  • Drafting and updating technical agreements/safety management plans/client templates and developing/updating SOPs/WPDs/trainings and other documents related to their activity are important tasks.
Requirements:
  • A Pharmacist or Life Sciences degree with more than 3 years of experience in PV (pharmacovigilance).
Key Skills:
  • Previous experience working under deadlines and strong client communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working for service providers performing QC of cases and pharmaceutical background with a strong understanding of GVP, GCP, FDA, and regulatory requirements related to drug safety.
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse event reporting, and causality assessment.
