Job Opportunity

An editorially-driven professional is needed to collaborate with senior team members in creating impactful live journalism events, podcasts, and digital content around global gatherings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Exhibit strong content expertise: Collaborate with senior editors to shape the coverage of key global development moments.
  • Conduct research: Explore critical issues affecting global communities, develop ideas for interviews or panels, and identify innovators and thought leaders.
  • Help bring issues to life onstage: Identify and recommend speakers who can effectively convey complex issues onstage.
  • Manage speaker correspondence: Handle communications with speakers, confirm speaking details, schedule briefing calls, collect and share essential assets.
  • Provide strategic support: Support senior editors and executives with external speaking and moderation opportunities, coordinating logistics and scheduling.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with social media, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless content delivery from concept to execution.
  • Maintain organization: Ensure meticulous organization of project timelines, deliverables, and communication.
Requirements
  • Strong content expertise and a keen sense for what matters to global development audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in journalism, content creation, and/or event management.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, clear and concise.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, juggling multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and tools.
  • Fluent English language skills, written and spoken.
