Job Opportunity

We seek a Strategic Financial Operations Specialist to strengthen our financial operations with a focus on construction industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project-level accounting, including job costing, preparing WIP (Work in Progress) schedules, and percentage-of-completion reporting.
  • Oversight of contract compliance, lien releases, retention, and change order financial tracking.
  • Assistance in preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Cross-functional support for consolidation and reporting across multiple entities.
  • Management of cash flow, budgets, and forecasts tied to project pipelines.
  • Collaboration with project managers on budgets, pay applications, and cost-to-complete reports.
  • Support of CFO with bonding requirements, banking relationships, and insurance audits.
  • Preparation of financial packages for lenders, investors, and auditors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles (job costing, WIP, retention, pay apps).
  • Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint, or other construction ERP/accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • High attention to detail, with ability to work independently in a remote environment.
