We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to join our team as a Property Staff Accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients. They will also review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.

Additional responsibilities include producing monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as needed/requested, demonstrating a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvement, maintaining current industry knowledge by reading professional publications and exploring on-the-job education opportunities, prioritizing and juggling multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end, and recommending ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Experience working in a GBS, BPO or Shared Service Center preferred for the USA
  • Strong understanding of accounting terminology in English
  • Strong communication skills in writing (prepare a writing sample)
  • Understanding of Cash and Accrual basis
  • Experience working from home
  • Accent level 2 preferred
  • Comfortable working with deadlines
