Revenue Accounting Expert

This role involves managing revenue recording processes, reconciling transactions, and maintaining key system integrations. Your duties will include overseeing revenue recognition processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • You will implement revenue recognition processes using data build tools and work with multiple teams to enhance business processes.
  • Maintain and validate integrations between various platforms, including Stripe, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, Hex, etc.
  • Perform reconciliations of revenue accounts in month-end close and manage activities related to sales tax.
Key Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience focusing on accounting, preferably revenue accounting.
  • A basic understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to take ownership, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
Additional Requirements

Billing or quoting systems experience (Salesforce, Stripe, etc.) and ERP systems (NetSuite) knowledge are desired. Basic SQL scripting skills are also beneficial.
