Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in accordance with ASC 606.


  • The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.
  • Responsibilities include assisting in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables.
  • The Revenue Accountant will also assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage, review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring ASC 606 compliance.
  • Additionally, the role involves managing and maintaining NetSuite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including data validation, reconciliations, and data flows.
  • The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to drive automation efforts to streamline revenue accounting operations and improve monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
  • Collaboration with sales, customer success, revenue operations, and FP&A is essential to obtain data and reporting for monthly revenue entries.
  • The Revenue Accountant will also develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal process documentation for clarity and efficiency across teams.
  • This role requires special technical projects, analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
  • The Revenue Accountant will play a key role in the company financial audit, preparing and reviewing revenue-related schedules for external auditors.
