Job Title: External Affairs Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned External Affairs Strategist to join our team and provide strategic leadership in managing and advancing our relationships with key stakeholders. This role is accountable for shaping and executing high-level public affairs strategies that support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and execute external affairs initiatives across various segments, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • High-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with gaming regulators, government officials, and industry partners, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Policy Analysis and Risk Intelligence: Monitor political, legislative, and regulatory trends impacting gaming operations and develop advocacy strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Communications and Influence: Supervise the development of policy briefs, talking points, and public statements, effectively communicating our position to key audiences.
  • Organizational Coordination & Leadership: Foster collaboration between external affairs and other teams, driving strategic initiatives and promoting a culture of excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in public policy or government relations, preferably in the gaming or technology sector.
  • Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and drive strategic initiatives, achieving measurable results.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident public speaker and negotiator.
  • Well-connected within the gaming industry and relevant government agencies, with a strong network of contacts.
