Job Title: Tax Professional Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Tax Professional Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the tax department, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using Ultra Tax, review tax returns prepared by staff, provide tax planning insights and recommendations to clients, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets, supervise and train tax accountants, communicate with clients regarding complex issues and deliverables, and identify and resolve technical tax issues involving the partner when necessary.
  • Clients Service: Foster strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and expectations, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of tax services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master of Taxation required; CPA license preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including review responsibilities.
  • Skillset: Proficiency in Ultra Tax and related tax preparation software, strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
