Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.

  • Gather all necessary information for middle and back office functions including external statements and supporting documents.
  • Perform pricing of funds' investments using prices from external sources.
  • Upload daily trade transactions and record them in the portfolio accounting system.
  • Prepare daily equity reconciliations and investigate any trade breaks.
  • Prepare financial reports including trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, and statement of changes in capital accounts.
  • Ensure that monthly partners' allocations are accurate and that management fees and performance fees are allocated correctly.
  • Classify all income and expenses in the right income and expense character for tax purposes.
  • Prepare reporting packages for review.

You will work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in coordinating annual audits.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy and preferably be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA). You will also have at least 1 year of experience in financial accounting and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
