Senior Tax Accountant Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Senior Tax Accountant, overseeing all aspects of VAT refund applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations in the management of VAT refund applications.
  • Prepare and review supporting documentation for VAT refunds, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants and authorities to facilitate smooth VAT refund processes.
  • Monitor and follow up on VAT refund statuses to prevent any delays or issues.
  • Assess and improve internal processes related to VAT documentation to optimize efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit periodic VAT reports, reconciling them with financial statements to ensure consistency.
  • Support audit preparations for income tax, VAT, and withholding tax, providing expert tax guidance.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and respond to audit queries, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
  • Offer tax guidance on VAT, withholding tax, and income tax implications to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Business Controller to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
