Community Growth Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Community Growth Specialist to build and scale a thriving digital marketing community from scratch. This individual will lead community efforts across various platforms, fostering meaningful engagement and driving growth through strategic content and engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing online communities, with hands-on experience managing communities on Discord, Telegram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn. A deep understanding of digital marketing trends, lingo, and challenges is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with audiences in a friendly yet professional tone.

This role requires a self-starter who can manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously, analyzing growth and engagement metrics to inform community strategies. Collaboration with the Head of Marketing and CEO is crucial to align community-building efforts with brand positioning and campaign initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and scale a thriving digital marketing community from scratch.
  • Create and execute a content and engagement strategy tailored to digital marketers.
  • Foster meaningful engagement by initiating conversations, responding to inquiries, and amplifying user-generated content.
  • Monitor and moderate community spaces to ensure a positive, inclusive, and spam-free environment.
  • Analyze growth and engagement metrics, and continuously iterate based on feedback and performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community management or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of growing online communities from less than 1,000 to 10,000+ members—ideally in marketing, tech, or creator spaces.
  • Hands-on experience managing communities on Discord, Telegram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn (other platforms a plus).
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, lingo, and challenges.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to connect with audiences in a friendly yet professional tone.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to guide community strategies.
