IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration and experience with IT work including firewall, security, and users VPN from home and from office.

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all IT work, collaborating with DevOps and support teams to resolve issues, and facilitating connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all IT work including firewall, security, and users VPN from home and from office.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams globally to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications.
  • Work with DevOps and support teams to resolve issues.
Skill Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT staff member.
  • Experience in third-party handling (suppliers, vendors, carriers, etc).
  • Fluent English; direct experience working with US or EU customers.
  • Proficiency in main Linux OS flavors: Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8, Ubuntu.
  • Microsoft Windows proficiency: administration level; knowledge of latest Windows OS releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Windows Server 2008/2012; Remote Desktop.
  • Scripting: Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking know-how: Fortigate firewall setup; basic WiFi knowledge; Static routing, DHCP.
  • IT automation using technologies such as Ansible.
