Job description:

General Responsibilities:

  • Work with the General manager to ensure the business IT needs are fulfilled.
  • Take charge of planning, executing, and overseeing system administration projects, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate analysis of end user requirements, evaluate if system configuration is possible with existing resources, and manage end user expectations.
  • Make recommendations to management on enhancements to the system to improve quality and reliability.
  • Ensure team members follow established processes and best practices.
  • Identify problems and technical work with the team to find solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align technical work with organizational goals.
  • Comply with and maintain knowledge of IT standards and best practices.
  • Ensure changes IT infrastructure and services to do not impede system performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all system administration- related inquiries and issues, providing expert guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Performs any other job required by General Manager that is related to the job.

AWS Management:

  • Daily monitor and maintain the health of AWS servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Track and manage AWS costs and usage to optimize spending.
  • Implement and oversee security measures to protect AWS resources.
  • Assess and recommend server requirements based on application needs.

Microsoft 365 Administration:

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services and applications.
  • Implement and manage security measures using Microsoft 365 Defender.
  • Manage the migration of data and services from Google and Dropbox to Microsoft 365.

Support and Administration:

  • Provide support for onboarding new employees and offboarding departing employees.
  • Manage and support third-party software applications technical troubleshooting.
  • Set up, repair, and maintain PCs to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Track and manage IT assets.
  • Administer and support the 3cx communication system.

Office Network Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the office network infrastructure.
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of office firewalls.
  • Provide primary technical support for office-related issues.
