Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager role is responsible for executing standard deployment projects independently while developing expertise in deployment processes and building customer relationships.

About the Role:
  • This role serves as the foundation of the PMO team, handling the majority of routine deployments while growing toward more complex responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead planning and execution of deployment projects from start to finish.
    • Be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring open, clear, and proactive communication.
    • Track milestones, budgets, and resources to deliver on time and within scope.
  • Logistics & Coordination
    • Manage logistics including site assessments, equipment delivery, installation coordination, and vendor scheduling.
    • Resolve day-to-day deployment challenges efficiently and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Analyze project outcomes and share lessons learned to contribute to better processes.
  • Vendor & Process Oversight
    • Coordinate with third-party installation vendors, ensuring schedules align and proposals meet expectations.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address quality or timing concerns promptly.
Requirements:
  • Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and solid stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience managing logistics, vendor relationships, and multitasking in dynamic projects.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
  • 2+ years in project coordination or management, especially in operational or deployment environments.
