Data Analysis Specialist

Job Description
  • A data analysis specialist will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions by working closely with functional teams to identify key metrics, define business questions, and develop reporting needs.

The specialist will facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover pain points, success measures, and opportunities for improvement. This will involve translating business processes and goals into measurable KPIs and performance indicators.

Exploratory data analysis will be performed to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights. The specialist will work with data from various sources to develop trusted reporting and analytics.

This will involve building and iterating on analytical models, dashboards, or data sets in collaboration with the Power BI Developer.

The data analysis specialist will ensure consistency and accuracy of key business definitions across reporting and analytics. This will involve contributing to a trusted source-of-truth semantic layer in Power BI by collaborating on metric alignment.

Insights will be delivered to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and dashboard reviews. Additionally, the specialist will help build a data-driven culture by enabling teams to ask better questions and explore answers using Power BI.

Responsibilities:
